It's time.

It's time to start living the life you've imagined. -Henry James

Four years ago, I decided to take a chance and utter the terrifying words, “I think I want to be a therapist.” Each time I quietly tried out the words to someone new, I was astounded at their acceptance and support. No one—not a single person—said, “Are you serious? You?” No one doubted me—except that part of me that was afraid I might fail and whispered doubts to me in my sleep.

Now, I am a therapist. I listen and comfort and laugh and cry and challenge those who trust me and come to me for help. I walk with people through terrible darkness and I rejoice and celebrate when they emerge into the light. I am blessed. I am living the life that I imagined.

  • Four years ago, I finally started living the life I had imagined. Have you?

  • What is it that you imagine?

  • Is there something holding you back from living your life?
